Kathryn Rogers ‘19 comes from Cary, North Carolina, and graduated from Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany. At Drexel University, Kathryn is a Graphic Design Major, and interned at IperDesign for six months through Drexel’s Co-Op program. There, she edited digital advertising assignments, illustrations and motion graphics for client websites, and helped creating branding for special events and promotions. Kathryn has participated in the Iki Drexel-Tamagawa Exchange program for 3 years, acting as a student researcher and host family during the US-side portions of the course. While living abroad in Easter Europe, Kathryn interned at the United States Embassy in Chisinau, Moldova, where she maintained the user/visitor database and updated social media in accordance with on-going events.

A little late posting this, but this was my final project for #screenprinting ! The theme was propaganda, and I decided to take a wordless approach to some feminist topics! It’s got 5 colors and basic silk screen transferring!
Second #screenprinting project! The theme was “holes,” and originally I wanted to base my piece off of “trypophobia,” but I ended up going on a more “tripophobia” route...
Working on a CMYK processing #screenprinting project, and while there’s been a few unfortunate hiccups, the mistakes do still look kinda cool 👀
